Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were comfortable, but a bit too warm in the morning, and had views of loud car parks. I would have preferred a walk-in shower over a shower in the bath. The service was a mixed bag with some staff being very friendly and professional, but others lacking knowledge and making errors with orders. The location was lovely with good access to Gatwick Airport, although the adjoining library could use some improvements. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with tasty food but limited options and early closing times. The facilities were satisfactory, with spa amenities available.
The hotel room was booked for my son's wedding night. It was nice although overlooked the mundane car park, leading to a less restful night's sleep due to outside noise. The executive double room did not meet our expectations.
The hotel had modern, clean, and well-appointed rooms with a deluxe touch, featuring a coffee machine, beautifully presented amenities, and a fridge stocked with water and fresh milk. The service was exceptionally polite, helpful, and welcoming, providing a kind, professional, and supportive experience without being intrusive. The location offered stunning views from leafy grounds, a recently renovated spa, and a fantastic attached gym. The dining experience was excellent with high-quality options and great variety. The facilities were top-notch, enhancing the overall customer experience.
The hotel offers very good views looking out across the countryside and is air-conditioned, which was great in the recent hot weather. However, cleanliness could have been better as some areas were neglected. The room, overall, was large, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The staff was extremely helpful.
